This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Over the years I have seen many a film. Some would say too many (my wife..for one). However, with the advent of video and DVD's it has become even easier to keep up with the latest releases. blah blah blah....
The reason for this small entry is that it is not very often a film has a massive impact on me. In fact, I don't think other than entertainment a film has ever had an impact on me at all....a subject for debate possibly. That was until I watched 'Hostel'.
Now, I am a fan of the horror genre and have seen loads of tripe over the last 28 years or so. But some are much more entertaining than others, largely by virtue of plot rather than gore or by expedient use of humour.
Hostel is a film that disturbed me greatly. So much so that I had to watch the extras on the DVD just to placate my brain, to make sure I knew in my head that this was 'only' a film.
It's not the gore but rather the basic premise of what the story is based on.
I won't spoil, but if anyone has seen this film and wants to comment, please do. For those of you that haven't seen it...and have stong constitutions, I would suggest seeing it, if only to use it as a gauge by wich other films in the genre can be measured.
Further to this, I saw 'Severance' last night...similar in geographical location to 'Hostel' (those poor eastern europeans...I can see the tourist industry dying before it starts), gory in part..but very funny.
Nick - I do love your random twiterings - they remind me of the morning chorus - pure refreshment - a bit like a glass of lemon barley water and a Mr Kiplings fondant fancy. Actually not too keen on Fondant Fancies - prefer his Almond Slices myself - I see you more of a jam tart or fruit pie man, Do you remember those individual fruit pies you could bye they were good can one still get those dunno but well they seem far more you, but of course I could be talking out of my well worn, so therefore shiny seat of my pants. Pants as in trousers you realise I am not American I am in fact from tother side of moon (that was my northern accent did you like it?)
Anyway back to your informative drivel You do sound a marvellous chap Nick can we all bow down and tickle your toes with out eyelashes you would like mine occasionally they are sparkly, but not too often as sometimes the sparkles can get in your eye and cause immense pain which is most unpleasant..
I myself have not seen hostel actually that is a lie as I have seen it in shops on shelves, and in fact we do have a copy but I have not actually watched the contents as played on my dvd player. That is a lie I have just remembered (can it be a lie if I forgot it or is it just an oversight is an oversight the same as a lie I personally dont think it should be what is your take on this Nick? Perhaps you dont lie or maybe you are just one big oversight or maybe just maybe you are the complete truth YOU Nick are the meaning of life! - Yes thats it its all clear now) Anyway yes it was (lets call it a fib shall we) I did watch the start of Hostel but got really rather bored as nothing much happened so gave up and watched the Sound of Music instead Now theres a film and a half, but what I want to know is what happened when they ran out of curtains did those poor children have to sing to the millions butt-naked cos that is just wrong. Hate that film now my entire view of it has been tainted and I shall have to sell my nun suit on ebay and refuse to go to the next sing-a-long that comes my way. My social life is now at a low ebb. So please cheer me up with more of your witty banter Nick you are all I have to live for now Oh and of course Kinder Happy Hippos they are just lush!
